The ships of the W.D.R. are an indispensable part of tourism on the North Frisian Islands. But we also play an important role in supplying the islanders, as we transport food and all the things that are needed beyond the mainland on a daily basis.

The tariff for category B vehicles and trailers (over 6 m or over 3.5 t gross vehicle weight) is calculated per metre or part thereof and is based on the actual total length of the vehicle (vehicle and load form one unit).

Therefore, please always state the actual total length when booking in order to ensure smooth handling. In the event of discrepancies, we reserve the right to remeasure the total length of the vehicle.
